My husband, on the other hand, was suffering, and I could see it. He had no thirst for life. He worked hard for our family, but found no joy in living. When he wasn't working, he was usually asleep. He often talked about how he couldn't wait to die--not happy words for a wife to hear. He was opposite than I was, in that he loved fitness. He tried everything he knew to look and feel better--eating oatmeal and protein shakes and boiled eggs and salads without dressing, riding his bike to work every day, going to the gym--but nothing would help and he was so frustrated. He was what I consider overdosing on caffeine everyday. His quality of life was going way down, and consequently, so was that of our family.
When I saw the Isagenix booth at the What Women Want expo and was accosted by a group of unnaturally enthusiastic people, my first reaction was to roll my eyes and try to stay away from them. It was hard, tho, since my Heritage Makers booth was right next to theirs. But then I started listening to their stories, and I saw their before and after photos, and I could tell that they were truly sincere. I knew I wanted Dave to try their products, and then if they worked for him, maybe he would let me try them. But of course he was not interested. he took their card and tossed it in the trash. But I entered a drawing to win a free 9-day cleanse, and I won! (I think it was rigged...they saw how badly I wanted it) Dave said he would buy one and do it with me...
On the 2nd day of the cleanse, I got a phone call from Dave. "Can you FEEL that?!" I did feel pretty good--I even played with Karter at the park instead of just sitting on the bench and watching--but he said it was like a scab had been ripped off of his brain. He felt alive! And to make a long story short, he hasn't stopped! What's more is he lost weight--53 pounds, to be exact--and has kept it off! Here are his before and after pictures:
These results came within a matter of 45 days, and since so many people were coming to him to find out HOW and WHAT happened to him, he decided to make it his business. He quit being a mechanic after just 6 months, and hasn't looked back. Our lives have changed dramatically, both physically and financially. We now know what it means to REALLY live!
My results are completely different, but no less amazing. My digestion issues that I struggled with for 8 years are all but gone. I now enjoy working out and I am strong (never thought I would say that)and I enjoy eating good food that is good for me!
I have stood supportively by, using the products and loving what they have done for my husband, refusing to get more involved than that because I have a business that I love and don't have time for anything else. But over the last 6 years, I have gone to conventions and Isagenix Universities and have seen so many lives change drastically--even miraculously-- that I cannot keep quiet anymore.
