When I was on twitter today, I saw a tweet about a guy who is "obsessed with being fit" and decided to purposely gain weight in 6 months by consuming the "typical American diet" and then lose it again in another 6 months to show people that it can be done. What an undertaking! It is intriguing to me. His first 6 months is almost over--he has gained just over 70 lbs--and the weight loss begins November 6.

For years, Holly hid behind her business suit. I'm So Excited!
I started doing crossfit training about 2 1/2 years ago after having not done much of anything for lots of years before that. I neglected to warm up before delving right into the workout, and as a result, my tight IT band started to cause me knee pain. I ignored it for about a year, and then it was just too much to ignore. It has been so frustrating because I have had to back off on a lot of the WODs and many everyday activities cause discomfort. I have tried massages and chiropractors have shown me exercises and stretches, but I haven't felt more than temporary relief.
Well, Isagenix came out with a Joint and Pain Relief System a little over a year ago. I didn't take it seriously at first because my pain wasn't in my joints really, but after going to convention in August, I learned that this system could definitely help me! Dave got the system for me in September. I doubled up on the pills for the first 30days and used the cream at least twice a day. I am excited to say that, although the discomfort is not completely gone, it can no longer be considered pain! I can't wait to discover how long until I no longer feel anything in my knee.

Along with my knee, another hinderance to my workout is my bladder control problem. The gynecologist told me that my uterus is "massive" and it puts pressure on my bladder and bowels, causing two opposite problems...one being a leaky sieve...but I have been able to do sit ups without worrying about being embarrassed. Last week I ran on a treadmill for 5 minutes before I felt the slightest wetness...COULD IT REALLY BE that my telomeres are receiving enough support to heal this female issue???!!!!
